Chris Reynolds has made lasting contributions to Atlanta’s public art scene through large-scale sculptural works that thoughtfully engage with their environment. His installations reflect a blend of fine art training, material expertise, and site-specific design.

Juniper Berries

Located outside the Hyatt Midtown on Juniper Street in Atlanta, Juniper Berries is a striking public art piece both designed and fabricated by Chris Reynolds. Drawing inspiration from the street’s namesake, the sculptural forms evoke the natural shape and rhythm of juniper berries while integrating seamlessly with the surrounding architecture and pedestrian space.

This work highlights Chris’s dual strengths as both a designer and maker—balancing conceptual vision with hands-on craftsmanship. Juniper Berries stands as a tribute to Atlanta’s urban identity and Chris’s ability to transform a location into a meaningful visual experience.

Blooming Hill

Also installed at the Hyatt Midtown as part of a commission from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Blooming Hill is a collaborative sculptural installation with designer Mark Wentz, where Chris served as lead fabricator. The work features dynamic, plant-inspired forms that complement the hotel’s modern design while bringing an organic element into the urban landscape.

Completed in 2013, Blooming Hill remains a celebrated part of SCAD’s initiative to connect contemporary art with public space. Chris’s technical leadership and sculptural precision were central to the project's success.

These public artworks demonstrate Chris’s commitment to creating accessible, enduring art that resonates with both local communities and the spaces they inhabit.
